My dad brings home the coolest knick knacks. This is a maginfying glass with two clamps....And those are polymer clay Gromit earrings that my good friend J made for me. Aren't they awesome!!!!!

This is G having a snack by Tyson, who happens to be sun bathing. G is my 3 year old cousin. We take care of her after school. She is adorable and loves walking around with a Shamu that is her size. She also enjoys eating cucumbers and watching Ice Age....everyday......Well at least it isn't Finding Nemo anymore.

This is L. She gave me permission to post her picture. She is an awesome florist. She makes casket sprays and easel sprays. We occasionally enjoy going to the brewery from time to time. I'm a whimp so I mostly order Berry Cider. LOL.

I found this on my bed when I woke up for work Apparently Akido had a midnight snack while I was sleeping....Oh lordy. I took a picture of it because I love osteology and I find bones exciting. I love studying its pores, and how they feel....AND I like how bones stick to your tongue....ok maybe it's just an archeologist thing. Anyway, I think discovering this bone was a sign that awesome things were going to happen...and it was true! When I got to work, there was a crate from hong kong waiting for me. When I opened it, it was filled with bones! I was so giddy! I felt ilke I was back in field school.

On this day I really wanted to take a picture while I was at the cemetery because it was a beautiful morning....but I had a family with me and it would have not been appropriate of me to do so....Afterwards, I got home late and wasn't feeling very creative, so I took a picture of my dad on his new recliner. Yeah I know it's boring, but I promise I'll get that cemetery shot.

Hey everyone this is the lip gloss junkie, Lili, who has lately had a relapse with chapstick lol. This is my first time doing this "one picture a day" project, and as of now I have realized that I'm not very good at it haha. I love photography but I have never realized how much I have neglected my poor camera until now. I hope you all enjoy the pictures.

So, to jump start this project I decided to set up my very own DIY photo booth this new years.The pictures were taken with a Nikon D60. I made various masks for my family to use, and they all had a great time taking pictures throughout the night.

I just finished reading Water for Elephants,and I must say it was a great book. The plot was intriguing and  I fell in love with the characters. I literally couldn't put it down. I  finished it within a week. 

I have theeeee biggest sweet tooth ever...and these lovely tin cans sit next to my bedside lol.

This is my brother after I cleaned up the photo booth mayhem that was left behind. He wasn't very enthusiastic about this picture as I was :)

On my way to LA to visit my friends and family a bright sunny day turned into a hazy eerie one as we drove into some marine layer. I love when mother nature presents me with spur of the moment photo ops. They turn out to be some of the best photos sometimes.

Went to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings and tried their "Blazing" sauce......it's safe to say that I probably had smoke coming out of my ears and I  killed some taste buds. I preferred their "wild" sauce....I think that's what they called it. It was the one right above "blazing" on their menu in case anyone's interested. 

My parents discovered this buffet near our house called paradise buffet......I thought it would be like any other buffet, but the second we walked in I fell in love. It was like a mini representation of a casino buffet you would find in Vegas. 

Random doodle......hand me a pen and paper, and I could entertain myself for hours. I love being creative :0)

This is your craft addicted mortician, Ligia. Yes, I happen to be a mortician who loves to craft. I also love The Muppets, brownies and I have a blossoming crush on Stephen Fry. Ha Ha, but I digress....

In 2010, I attempted to take the 365 photo challenge, then I tried it again in 2011... sadly it was an epic fail both years. You would think taking a photo a day would be a simple task, right? Well...I lacked disipline. But, hey, third time is a charm and I have Lili (recovering lip gloss junkie) to motivate me. :D. So, here goes....Wish me luck!

This picture was taken with my android phone using the vignette app. I made these shoes using a pattern i purchased from Ithinksew. I had the fabric stashed in my closet for a while and I thought it was time to make use of it. I bought the fabric at Michael Levine's, which is located in Los Angeles' fashon district.

I woke up at 1 am and I could not go back to sleep, so I thought it was be a good time to take a picture. I captured good lighting even though the lights were out.

You know what the great thing about buffets is? You can put breaded shrimp, biscuits, carrot cake and spumoni on the same plate. Ja ja...In case you were wondering, yes my tummy hurt afterwards. But it was worth it....OH YEAH!
